Refund policy

At Bikelane S.r.l., we want you to be fully satisfied with your new bicycle. If for any reason you change your mind, you have the right to return your purchase in accordance with the terms set out below.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Change of Mind)

Pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to withdraw from the purchase without providing any reason.

2. Mandatory Conditions for Returns

For a return to be accepted, the products must meet the following requirements:

  • Product condition: The bicycle or accessory must be new, unused and undamaged. Returns will not be accepted for bicycles showing signs of road use, scratches on the frame, or wear on components.

  • Original packaging: It is essential to keep and use the original packaging (box and internal protective materials). Bicycles shipped without suitable packaging may suffer structural damage during transport, which could invalidate the refund.

  • Completeness: The product must be returned complete with all accessories (pedals, manuals, included assembly tools, etc.).

3. Return Procedure

  • Request: Send an email to ------ stating your order number and the product you wish to return.

  • Authorisation: You will receive an email confirmation with instructions and the address of our warehouse.

  • Shipping:

    • You may arrange shipping independently with a courier of your choice.

    • Alternatively, Bikelane S.r.l. can arrange collection from your address via our contracted courier (service cost starting from € [insert price, e.g. 35.00] for bicycles).

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind: Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

  • Our error or manufacturing defect: If you received an incorrect or defective product, Bikelane S.r.l. will fully cover the costs of collection and replacement.

5. Refunds

Once the product has been received and its condition verified, we will issue the refund within 14 days.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase (Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer).

  • Reduction in value: If the product shows damage or signs of use that reduce its resale value, Bikelane S.r.l. reserves the right to issue only a partial refund.
